Default nvidia 1.0-5336 freez system

hi!

nvidia freez my complet linux when i enabled the second graphic card. each card alone is no problem.

since i updated xfree and the kernel

motherboard chipset: nforce2 400 ultra
card 1: geforce mx440se with dvi-out
card 2: vodoo banshe (tdfx)
xserver: xfree 4.3
linux: debian sid
kernel: 2.6.3

i tested each card with dif. modi's like nvidia, nv and vesa

in my XFree86 log i can not find any hint's - only wast is there after a crash ..
