Default I can't find a linux driver

I am not sure that this message is in the proper forum. If not please excuse me. I have a GEforce4 Ti 4200 video card on my intell pentium II computer with a Debian (woody) operating system with a 2.2 kernel. I am trying to get the Xfree86 4.1 desktop up and running but I don't have the proper driver for the video card. Without the Xfree86, I can only use lftp to get the http://www.nvidia.com site. When it opens it will only open to /page/home and I can't get a directory listing. I need the driver in a binary format because I don't have enough experience with the gcc compiler to use the source code. I have the Ti 4200 spect sheet, the NV(4) man page, The Nvdia OpenGL Configuration mini-HOWTO, and the NVIDIA Accelerated Linux Driver Set -- README & Installation Guide. Is there any place that I can get a driver in the binary format. Thank you for reading this

The 'vesa' driver may also let you get X running on that system. As mentioned you should start with an included open source driver to verify that X is installed correctly and works before adding the nvidia driver into the mix. When you need it however, you could grab it from here (the installer in .run format is recommended):
ftp://download.nvidia.com/XFree86/Linux-x86/1.0-5336/

direct link: ftp://download.nvidia.com/XFree86/Li...-5336-pkg1.run

Thank you for the help. I'm going to try it, and will report the results.
