Angry Tvout dont work / messes my consoles up

Hi there,

I have a funny prob with my tvout. Whenever my tvout is plugged in, my consoles from F1 to F6 are all messed up. The consoles F2 to F6 are just a black blank screen. The F1 console looks like some kind of modern art:
normally, the Suse screen and the boot messages/login are present. But in this case I just have some kind of pixel-block-salad. It still reacts on ctr-alt-del for reboot, though.
The X with KDE is running nice and stable on F7.
So, whenever I plug the tv cable out and reboot my box, everything turns to normal.

I also tried to configure the tvout as mentioned in the readme, without any effects.

The hardware is o.k., no probs with winxp.....

This irritates me a bit, and I dont want to boot Winxp only for watching a movie...

I hope there is a workaround or something. All I want is just to have consoles and tvout work

Thanks in advance

P.S.: I'm quite a Linux newbie, so please be patient

Some more or less important specs:
