Default Help me......

I have
Red Hat 7.3
Athlon 900 Mhz
GeForce 2 MX 400 TvOut

i run the NVchooser.sh and download NVIDIA_GLX-1.0-3123.i386.rpm and NVIDIA_kernel-1.0-3123.rh73up.athlon.rpm
i login as root.
but when a i try to install the kernel display a message "error cpio mode" when try to create a directory.
but whit the NVIDIA Version: 1.0-2960 don't have this error.
i can intall and work fine.

What happen.

I believe the cpio error generally means a corrupted download. Try md5sum /path/to/kernel/rpm/file and also md5sum /path/to/glx/rpm/file, and make sure the ouput matches the official driver page's md5sum's for the files. If it doesn't, re-download.
