Default new nvidia drivers 53.41

Well someone on nforcershq posted this in the linux forum. There are new nvidia drivers out. 1.0.5341. The link is below.

http://www.pny.com/support/drivers/?prod=quadro

Just click the download link for the nvidia linux drivers and you'll get em.

So far they seem to work fine here......even a small performance improvement.

I see that they do, but they only have the color settings. Is there any way around this?

Its back to the 4620s for me, the latest drivers have given me glitchy performance in Ut2004.

They don't work on my GFFX 5600... I get a nasty kernel OOPS when they try to modprobe. rmmod -f won't even get the driver out then.

Have you tried to update your kernel or a newer one? Im currently running the drivers on 2.5.1-rc1 with no problems. I still wish that they added back in the configuration options for nvidia-settings but I am glad they included it with it.

I can't get a whole lot newer. Running 2.6.4-ck1 at the moment.

Yes you can, 2.6.4-ck1 is based on 2.6.4 main release. 2.6.5-rc2 is out.
