Wonder if it's the same. Prolly not because it's much smaller...that is unless they really streamlined the code.

Downloading right now.

Downloaded and played it. I loved the first demo, and this second sealed the fact that I have to buy this game. Sure it's nothing special, just running around killing demons and zombies with some neat weapons and cool physics...but man I had a blast playing through the demos...

I've got the first two Serious Sam games...they're all right. I love a game that can give a challenge, but I think Sam takes it a bit further than that. It certainly does shine in Co-op though...and more games need Co-op.

I did hear that they were leaving co-op out of Painkiller at release, but that doesn't seem to bother me too much with this...it's fun playing by yourself, too. Still pissed about the whole Halo PC, no co-op thing...but I know I'm not the only one.

Good recommendations though, thanks.

PS: Any news on a release date for Serious Sam 2?

I didn't like this demo as much as the first. I know it's a different level and all, but the atmosphere just wasn't there. The new demo felt flat and cartoony, almost too much like Serious Sam. Mind you that's not a knock against SS, but I was expecting a little more.

Also, is it just me or is the scroll wheel buggered in this demo? If I want to switch weapons there's a severe lag from when I move the wheel to the time when my weapon actually changes. Almost like the command doesn't register within the game. This was not an issue in the first demo.

You can fix that by turning the wheel sensitivity up.

Yeah that wheel sensitivity is weird.. I like each click on me wheel to switch to a new weapon, and had to fiddle with that to get it right.
