Default 16 Player Xbox Help!

What do i need to setup 16 player halo... 4 xboxes, 4 tvs, 16 controllers and people, at least 4port hub. Do i need 4 regular lan cables all conected to the gub or 3 regular lan cables and one crossover cable. Also this cable, uh whats it called "Xbox System Link Cable," is that the same as a crossover cable?

All of what you listed, plus 4 copies of the game. And yes, you'll need 4 regular ethernet patch cables. And an Xbox System Link cable is just a crossover cable (which is only used for connecting 2 devices directly to eachother, useless if you're only using 1 hub or more than 2 devices).

Ok thank you!!!!!!!!!!
So i finally get it now.. If you want 2 xboxes u can just use a crossover cable and for 3+ Xboxes u need a lan cable for each to go into a router. I was getting confused because this one website kept sayinf for you to get 4 xboxes together, the hosting Xbox must be connected to the router through and Crossover (system link) cable.

Hmm, that website must be on something (er, you know what I mean!), crossover cables don't work for setting up a LAN. You can use one to connect 2 hubs togeather, or one to connect 2 things directly to eachother, but otherwise they're pretty much useless. Actually I'm guessing they meant if you had a hub with an uplink port that you'd need a crossover cable for it. Otherwise just make sure that you have at least 4 standard ports on your hub and you should be fine.

Haha, good luck with that (though both the PC and Xbox version of Halo only support 16 players, so you might have a little trouble getting a 64 player game going ). Otherwise...as with most PC hardware, all I can recommend is Newegg. Unfortunatly I don't work at Bestbuy anymore, or else I could get network cables for uber ungodly cheap (like $5 for a 25 foot cable).

Yeah i was thinking about using a 16 port router and being connected to Xbox live on all 16 Xboxes... boy that would be fun. Oh yeah im Canadian so ive never heard of that place and that sucks that u don't work at best buy.. there awesome and i bought that Xbox system link cable and it works fine, plus i can use it to play lan games on my Pc too , hehehe

Ummm, Halo doesn't support XBOX Live btw.

But aren't you suppose to be able to route it through a PC somehow and play it on the net? I dunno, can't remember where I saw that.
