OMG!!! When i went to Ebgames and asked them about the DvD edition, they said it was pre-order only which is dumb. Now i have the six cd edition which i hate! and NOW they want to release it on DVD. Like thats BS! Are you able to return the cd edition for the DVD edition?

Friend of mine paid $85 on ebay for a DVD copy. I'm sure he'll be thrilled to hear about this...

Hehe, print out the order page for the DVD version, and then at the end staple on a big "OWNED" sign

I just downloaded the DVD image, and burned it to a DVD. I use my retail key I got from the 6 cd version. Works the same for me as a retail DVD version.

Wah.

I dont want to swap 6 cd's out, and now I dont have to.

Edit, I also did the same thing for Farcry. If they had released a DVD copy over here, I would have gotten one. Swapping CD's is annoying.

well.. technically the only time you have to swap cd's is during the install... By the time you had the DVD version dl'd.. you could have already had the game installed

Thats not a bad idea since its technically not illegal since I also bought the CD version of the game

I just downloaded the nocd crack. Now I don't need a disc in there at all.

And my copy is legit, thx.

There is nothing at all wrong with that IMHO. I was thinking about doing the exact same thing. If you paid for the game and are using your CD key there is no issue. Same thing goes for running no CD fixes. I really really hate having to put a cd in for a game I bought.
