Yes, but your just giving more traffic for warezer's, to give them more reason to keep doin what their doin.. Still good that you bought the game though

It is a bunch of crap that we can't make backups of things we own. The CD key should be good enough, those keygens are worthless anyway since the master server always knows if it's fake.

I dont understand why everyone needs backups of the games they own. If you take care of it, and dont throw it around, you will never need it. All the other console gamers dont make backups of their games, why should we?

Accidents happen, that's why. It really isn't asking much to be able to make a backup copy of something you bought IMO. It's not asking much at all.

I have seen discs develop bad spots with very little obvious physical damage done.

And plus, there are many old PSX 1 games I cannot use now because I can't back them up.

That argument is not a good one. Console users cant make backups, and have them work without a) a PC, b) some serious modding voiding the warranty.

I keep good care of my discs, but as you seemed to have forgotten, this is about not wanting 5&6 cd's, but rather having one DVD. I also have a 5 year old girl, and a 9 week old boy. Kids are not nearly as careful with things as adults can be.

I dont really care what you think about it, its not illegal. I'll continue doing it untill they start putting out DVD games, instead of this several CD crap.

Well I for one don't see the problem with people downloading the DVD image if they own a legit 6CD copy already. They purchased the product, and if the DVD had only been more readily available people wouldn't need to download DVDS images. Atari/Epic wanted to make the DVD in limited quantity, then this is their fault. But there is no cause for concern of warez since the master server blocks duplicate cd keys anyway. Get over it people, it's not a big deal and it's not illegal. I for one also looked for the DVD version and was really annoyed I couldn't get it unless I preordered.

The good news is that a reinstall is REALLY rare. I for one don't even bother reinstalling UT if I need to redo windows. All you need to do is back a registry key backup for the "Unreal Technology" section of the registry, then delete C:\Windows and C:\Program Files using a WinPE boot cd. Then reinstall Windows, import the REG file, and your back to gaming without any concern for the 6 CD's
