I'm not picky. I like it on top and the bottom. Both images looked fantastic.

Top one by far, kudos to nvidia for a kickass piece of hardware!

I thought the bottom image looked slightly smoother.

Yeah that just goes to show how empty this argument is IMO as far as how the fanboys throw it around. It's all so subjective anyway. Sure, there are certain cases where there are glaring differences...but that goes both ways.

The front of the wing looks like a smoother curve in the top picture.

One more thing to consider, besides comparing zoomed images is the actual game.

I say this because in some games at 4xAA the 5900 and even the 9800 have a "dot crawl" effect which is very noticeable mostly in near horizontal or vertical lines. Racing games and flight sims is where I have noticed it a lot, like f1 challenge and IL-2 Sturmovik.

I've been testing the latest version of FRAPS and along with my system hardware, the video capture capability has also improved. I hope to be able to capture footage that will demonstrate how AA looks during motion.

Thats great, but unless you use a lossless codec you won't get the same IQ.

Besides, running it at a different resolution will also make it different because of scaling.

A while ago I tried it with fraps 2.0 and f1challenge and got good results but only using huffyuv codec. Divx/Xvid/mpeg are out of the question.

Then again files are quite large but its not much of an issue if you have broadband.
