Fatal Server Error: No Screens Found
So I downloaded the most recent nVidia drivers for my GeForce 2 Ultra video card. When I edit the XF86Config-4 file to say
my computer won't boot into the XServer. It gets to the point at which it should load the environment, blacks out, flashes a few times, then winds up at the console screen - as if I had loaded up in failsafe The error here is:
Fatal Server Error:
No screens found.
Attached are my XF86Config and XF86Config-4 files.
Thanks for the help in advance!

Re: Fatal Server Error: No Screens Found
Add the below details to your XF86Config-4 file. The XF86Config file is far from complete and will not work as is. You should check the first ~10 or so lines of your /var/log/XFree86.0.log for which config file is in use.... it explicitly tells you which was used to launch the X server.
