Default BFG 5800u: who wants one, and why?

anyone count how many 1st time posts there were in that thread, lol?

also, can we exclude anyone that's said the fx series was a failure, PoS, etc?

that would eliminate well over half the contestants

I think it sucked, but I still would love to have it. Would be an improvment over the 8500 in my sons computer.

Well, the 5800 would run better than my 5600, although not a huge step, but still a step in the right direction. I am getting the 6800 Ultra on release. I have another system that could use a better video card and the 5800 would fit perfectly. One last thing, to me, noise is NOT an issue. It could be quiet as a mouse running in pure darkness at night or a freight train passing through a New York subway. Either way, the card is good and better than what I currently have!

The 5800 ultra was a legend.
I think it qualifies to be a Guinness World Record holder.
"The loudest noise generated from a video card" category.
And I am not being sarcastic.

Its a card that Nvidia would rather forget. Besides, its still fast and it play games, so why not? I would love to have one, and I hope I'm one of the lucky ones.

I would really like another BFG 5900NU. But there a little hard to come by now. So I'll take this one instead.
