hi
im having problems with my PC and i want to erase all my stuff (format c)and reinstall windows..

can you tell me how to do this ??

can you give me step by step instructions to format drive c and reinstall windows ???

please, i need your help...

It depends on which OS you want to install. If you're using XP, in your system BIOS you can set your CD-ROM as the first boot device and it'll just boot from the cd. From there you can erase your partition, create a new one, and install the operating system. If I'm not mistaken, you can install Windows 2000 this way as well. I've only done that once so I could be wrong.

If you're installing 9x/ME (not sure why you would though) you need to boot from a bootable floppy and do a good old /format C: to get anywhere.

Oh, and if your XP disc won't boot directly, you can make these instead.

I'm triying to install windows 98, and can you give it a little more clearly ? i know what the bios is and all that kind of stuff, but i need it more clearly cause in mexican and i need more clearly instruction....

If you put the original cd in the drive in should bring up a screen where choose to reinstall windows.
