how hard is it to set up a pc to record stuff from tv directly to a dvd?

I'm pretty sure you'd have to record it with a TVR card (like my Winfast) and then manually write it to a dvd. I could be mistaken.

I dont think you can do it

when you write to a DVD you need a continous stream, you cant stop, and write again, stop and write.

So you have to go though your hard drive first

Kinda, but the burn speed will have to exacltly match the input from the tuner.

And then you will run into alot of bufferunder run disks' heh.

When my TVPC records the hard drive only flashes on, not even stressed. such as

blink blink etc.
