Hi,
I have a VGA TV that manages to show 848x480 under WinXP (latest driver), but under linux I have only managed to get 640x480. Any ideas on how to get 848x480 to work? I guess I need a ModeLine but I have no clue on how to generate one. BR, --Svante |

You could try to build a custom modeline but not sure if that helps for TVs as they are controlled by a tvout encoder but you could try. You can find a simple modeline generator here (not sure if it is useable for televisions): www.sh.nu/nvidia/gtf.c
Compile it using gcc -o gtf gtf.c |
