Problem with Mandrake 9.2 and NVIDIA -4 440 Card
I have just installed the latest version of Xfree 4.4.0
I dl the AI32 RPm and installed it . I went through the changes that are required in the XF86Config-4 file and changed them When I startx I get the following message (WW) NVIDIA:Chipset "Geforce4 MX440" in device secton nvidia" isn't valid for this driver (EE) No devices detected. Fatal server error: no screens found Please help Thanks Peter peter@tccgaming.co.za |

This error means your XF86Config-4 file has errors in it. If you can reply and attach it, I will repair and attach it back again.
