Default Suse 9.0

Hello, everyone
i have a old computer the spec are this follow:
(celeron)Pentium 2 MMX 333
6.00 GB Hard driver
Matrox G200 (AGP)
128 MB of Ram
40 X CD-ROM

i have installed suse 9.0, and i have no problemwith it, but when the pross. gets hot, then the computer slows down... i was wondering if there is any way to run suse on performance....i don't want the text mode...either..
