I'd readily blame this on USB, _not_ Nvidia. |

2.4.22-10 is buggy anyway, so you should upgrade it first, blame nvidia later.
Try version 2.4.22-28 Lets see if i remember: urpmi.update -a urpmi kernel kernel-source ![]()

I have the same problem, and the same modem.
I've tried it with 2.4.22, 2.4.24 and 2.6.3 and always get the same effect. I do not get the effect if I use the non-accelerated 'nv' driver. But, obviously, that driver sucks. My card is a GeForce 2 MX, driver version is 5336 (I've also tried two previous versions at random, both had the same problem). I'm running Gentoo right now (although I had the same problem with Red Hat and Slackware). |
