Default Getting FX5950 Ulra Working Right in Linux?

Hi all,

just got my new FX5950 Ultra installed and im a little concerned im not getting the best out of it...

Here's what I did:

* Changed the BIOS Graphics Aperture Size to 256MB (is this correct?)
* Edited XF86Config to increase the Vidio RAM setting
* Re compiled the nvidia drivers

Im only getting about 2400 FPS on glxgears....

Any help or suggestions much appreciated!
