Default A little help please

Hi,

Attempting to install RED HAT 9. (SAMS Teach yourself version)

Problem: Auto Install reaches sbin/loading ,welcome screen - then computer hangs.

Installing with command <linux text> seems OK.

Video card: GeForce FX5200.128Mb. NVIDIA compatable

Driver version: 6.14.10.5672. Installed driver: Nv4_disp.dll.

Processor: x86 Family 15 model 2 stepping 9 Genuine Intel ~2593 Mhz.

M/board: Dell Dimension 8300.

have you got Red hat installed ?

If not then try and find a way of installing with vga 640x480 or 800x600 and only once you have the system installed, download the Nvidia driver and install it.
