Default Xinerama Rox Window Placement

Relevant details of my setup :
Video card: NV34 [GeForce FX 5200]
XFree86 4.3.0
ROX-Filer & ROX-Session 2.1.2 (latest via 0install)
Two monitors both CRT

There appears to be a problem with the xinerama extension and the latest version of Rox. The problem is that when you open Rox, you can move the window about, but when go into a directory, or click "back" the window jumps to the second monitor at a specific place every time. The "nv" drivers do not have this problem, and disabling the Twinview Xinerama extension fixes the nvidia driver problem. But then of course everything I open jumps into the middle bewteen the two monitors.
Very annoying. I'm curious though if this is a problem specific to ROX or have other session managers or window managers encountered similar difficulties? And of course, any suggestions would be appreciated.
