its friday so i would call them today or your going to have to wait till monday, this way you can get the card shipped out tommorow.

Mind saying where you bought this card from so we all know?

Just dont go with the 5900, its a waste of money right now, if you dont wanna save the extra 80 or cant then wait till the 6800nu is out, it will still be plenty faster, and if you wanna save even more money, wait till the 6800 suppy is plentifull then you can get your 5900 probably under $200, or you can just buy a used one for about $150-$200 right now. 9800pros brand new right now are $200, selling used for $130-$150!

Also!, dont ask!, tell them you want a refund!, if your weak minded and "ask" they might give you the run around, so immediatly tell them you want to know the address to return the card to.

I know its gonna be in the pain in the ass but I would call them and go for an exchange for the product promised or refund. Print out the website ad, and if they refuse threaten to challenge the charges on your credit card. You can also inform them that a FX 5900 Ultra with 128mb of RAM does not exist while you are at it. Then file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau: www.bbb.org

It's not so much that you got a card that is terribly slower than the one you thought you were getting - for the most part, where the 5900 non-ultra is going to chug, the 5900 ultra is going to chug, too; although there are exceptions. What it's really about is you got swindled. A 5900 non-ultra shouldn't cost you more than $200 max. Plus, I know I wouldn't be happy knowing I got robbed of $100+ and didn't follow up on it until I got that money back.

If you can get a refund, go for that and grab either a 5900SE/XT for $175, as it really isn't much slower than the 5900 Ultra, or wait 2 weeks or so for the 6800 non-ultra to come out.

Thats my 2 cents.

Hooo boy.... why do I have the feeling that when you call... yer going to find someone with a "thick foreign accent" on the other end of the phone... which will either actually not understand what you are talking about... or play dumb.

As has been said... there is no such thing as a 128MB 5900 Ultra. The Ultras are all 256 MB with 450 / 850 clock.

Good luck.

yes.. true..
but now i see that it's so hard to find the regular A350 that the only places i see that have it charge between $315 and $330 for the non-ultra..
so i feel kind of lucky to have found it at all..
this one place Gameve.com also had the ultra for about that $$ but it was out of stock.. i thought the A350 Ultra was actually discontinued.. so maybe its' all just a ploy to sell more A350s or somethin...
even on the Leadtek site if you look up the non-ultra A350 it tells you that it's 'powered by the 5900 Ultra GPU'...

hey ford442, I was helping you decide between the 5900NU and the XT. Sorry to hear about what happened with this company, but here's what i gotta add:
I would do like everyone else said, contact this company, DEMAND a refund/product exchange for the real ADVERTISED product. If they attempt to tell you anything about the invoice saying 128mb, tell them how it is. There is no such thing as a 5900 Ultra 128mb, and the product description has ultra written all over it. So does the box picture. I cannot find anything on the site informing customers that the product picture and description might not reflect the product you will receive. Either way, even if it does say that, the 5900 ULtra and the Non ultra are 2 totally different products, and if they mixed them up in shipping, product description you should not have to pay for it. It is their fault. Call 'em up, email, w/e, just demand a refund or product exchange... Good luck.

Talking Re: am i gettin ripped off?

Zer0xp - yeah! i remember you.. thanks again for the advice..
and that is what i've done - i wrote two emails already and it's been since wednesday...
so maybe i'll call them tomorrow..
i really think now that they have the price correct but advertise the Ultra which is generally like $370 - $420..
and i am pretty satisfied with the card.....
still thinking of installing it tonight.. hehe...
