It seems my GLX is not working when i try to use a 3D App:

Xlib: extension "GLX" missing on display ":0.0".

and the NVidia Logo DOESN"T show when GDM starts up.

and i have fixed my kernel so theres the right config. I've read many posts and threads on this and cannot see why im having trouble. I've done the readme and everything just ilke it said, and restarted.

*BTW* My GFX Card is a Geforce3 Ti 400

Help?

You should look in /var/log/X***.log

And you have edited the /etc/X11/XF86Config to the device driver "nvidia" and not "nv"?

Please attach your current config and X startup log (/var/log/XFree86.0.log or /var/log/Xorg.0.log) to the forum as text files. (see manage attachments below text box)

Yea, i just got it fixed. I was just messing around and found an X.org file. I've never seen it before, thats why i didn't touch it. Why'd they have to go and change this stuff around lol.

The X.org Server is usually installed by Dropline Gnome, Slackware uses Xfree also in current in Version 4.4.
The X.org Server is in the testing tree of current.
