Default AMD64 Lockups - Possible Solution

Hey everyone,

Just something you might want to try if you're using amd64 linux and experience the dreaded daily lockups. What worked for me is turning off ia32 support in the kernel. Yes, this means losing 32bit support.

I've been up and running for days (uptime=6 days and counting) now with no problems. Can someone else try this and report? I'm interested in any findings.

Regards,

Tamran
