yah... as is r3d by the sheer size of its community and their rabid participation (and I mean rabid in a good way) operates on a different level than most other forums online...

Theres another thing I havent really mentioned... the Nature test in 3dmark03 is not smooth. Parts of it are, such as when the camera is looking at the water only... it plays at 300fps there! But as soon as the camera pans up to see the trees and stuff... it goes all the way 25fps... I'm curious as to whether the x800's do this as well.

My X800 Pro stays pretty smooth all through the nature test, but it does dip to 25fps at times and 25-30fps isn't uncommon at certain points in the test. My X800 Pro is running at 510/1050 with the cat 4.5 beta drivers. FX-53/SK8V processor/mobo. I'm close to you in "Wings of Fury" and "Nature" (you're 7% faster), but you're 44% faster in "Proxycon" and 43% faster in "Troll's Lair".

My overlocked Fx5900Xt 450/800 only dips down to 21 after the camera looks up, but definantly thats the laggiest scene in the whole test.

Have fun with your new toy.

17k is a very nice score, but drivers not yet approved so either it didnt publish or its not on default search. when I saw 1250MHz on the ram, I was like he must have gotten weak ram chips because Jackup got higher than that on just plain water!

question Jackup about 3dmark 2001:

http://service.futuremark.com/compare?2k1=7602370

his 9800 pro score

http://service.futuremark.com/compare?2k1=7880897

his 6800u score

you got a REAL bad run in car high, lost 10fps there. also lost 8fps in lobby low and 4fps in lobby high!

I think 2001 is CPU limited and maybe the 9800P is more efficient with his CPU. That points to inefficient drivers on the 6800's part. I bet if resolution were increased to 16x12 you'd see the 6800U double the 9800P

Congrats Jack, i really envy you now
thats an impressive o/c for a stock cooling . i'd really like to see how's your performance in Painkiller , SC:PT & Thief3 .

& the same goes for Sig_Pitt .. i think i'll be getting an MSI 6800u as soon as it get to market because eVGA is not available where i live .
can you inform me about the price & whats your O/C max with the stock cooling ?? can you get to Jackup's speeds ??

thanks .

Next month?? Surely you jest...

This would be bad for nvidia if ATI gets a lot of early sales. Not many of us have the patience to hold out forever, especially when the XT looks to be a good card.
