Thanks for the personal review jAkUp. Its nice to get a users review for a change.
I'm a bit disappointed with the Farcry problems/performance seeing as this is the only game my current rig can't handle well and would be my main reason for upgrading at this point. |

Pfft, yes try the Volcano level, JaKup, ouch.
The reason I suggest God mode is because the idea isn't to play the game but to use it as a 'hell like benchmark'. Going into an area that is already demanding with nothing happening then stirring up as much activity/effects as possible by drawing all the baddies you can. That's what I did in the Factory and Volcano level, stir them all up first then kill 'em. Guess what got me 20FPS in the Volcano level? Those eight plus Big Trigen chain rocket nuking me together.< Talk about system stress. Here's that bench with the card OCed and my system to levels I named before at 1280x1024, 4xAA/8xAF and everything very high/ultra high. 2004-06-07 22:54:50 - FarCry Frames: 19610 - Time: 465375ms - Avg: 42.138 - Min: 20 - Max: 87 BTW those are very nice default scores, you won't have a problem in the uncoming games at all. Honestly I have XT fever so I may end up pawning off the Pro for the XT, eventhough I don't need it.

Yes Arioch, I to hope this isn't a gateway type situation because I had my evga card ordered through monarch computers, but they were charging 580 per card and comp was only charging 499 plus tax and shipping so it worked out to 544. The only reason I believe they had them is because these cards have been slowly working their way out into the system, and comp wasn't the only vender to have a ship date of the seventh. Ooohh yeh, I will also believe it when I see the card in my grubby little hands! The radeon post had sucker all over it ... I mean didn't anyone else think that 435 for a xt was just a little cheap! OOoohh crap, I forgot again (that last brain cell is givin me hell) the comp site doesn't list the card anymore, if this is good or bad I'll find out in 24 to 48 hours, but if this is another xt fiasco I'm gonna

You're only a sucker if they got your money.
Many people have prolly canceled their gateway orders already after finding out it was bogus. |

You wont find out if Compusa was a Muckup until you get a shipped email and then after that, it'll be 4-7 business days for you to receive it if you took the free shipping option.
I do believe is entirely possible that compusa actually DID have a few. Id say its a decent probability that they DID have a few. Someone actually HAD to put that listing on the website, but then again, they may have put it up thinking they were supposed to get a shipment today from PNY and then didnt receive it. I dunno, hard to tell. Keeps fingers crossed. ![]()

From what I can tell, many places put items up there with expected ship dates based on what the manufacturer tells them regarding delivery dates. Sometimes they don't seem to find out until the last second that no, they won't be getting any stock as expected. Surprise surprise eh?

yea, but CompUSA's card didn't show up until this morning... at some point this morning somebody was expecting to ship some cards out, and added it to the site.
