Big problem is cannot turn up core clock or memory clock without test freezing up. And looking at similar systems seems like this card should go on up. Have been fighting this for days can somebody help me figure this out.

AA - Off, AF - Off, Image settings - HP, Color Profile - NA, Verticle Sync - Off, Force Mipmap - None, Conformant Texture Clamp - Off, Ext limit - Off, Hard Accel - Single Display Mode, Max Frames Ahead - 3, Gama 1.16, Fast Writes - Off, Driver 6.14.10.6562. MOBO BIOs voltages set to auto CPU Freq set at 142.

I know I must be doing something wrong, posted at two other boards hope someone here has a suggestion. Thank You
Thats a pretty nice score for your Ti 4200. Those are nice cards, still. I think the issue with the card locking could be one or more of these four things.

1) Bios settings (SBA, Fast Writes, AGP Aperture, 0/1 WS, Sync, etc.)
2) Driver settings (O/C, SBA, FW, etc.)
3) Core (GPU) voltage
4) Heat

Other than flashing the bios? But I wouldn't recommend that. Asus cards/bios don't have the 2d/3d clock speed separation, they run full 3d speeds 24/7. Perhaps the new 65+ series of drivers will have a fix for it?

Are you referring to the drop down box under Manual Overclocking? If so, you are wrong, if not, my bad.

But then when I check my registry keys, it seems like everything is set correctly.

Can anyone verify this?

Try changing the top line of the REG file

REGEDIT4

to

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

P.S. - You can download the new version of Coolbits from my sig. This new version adds some more features, and is also 3d stereo compatible.

Enjoy!

I'd like to give a big thanks to everyone at www.nvnews.net for their help and support. Also, Pieter at laptopvideo2go.comfor his time and effort in providing us with the latest nVidia drivers with modified INF files, . And last but certainly not least, Xavier at rootshell.be for providing me with a free shell account and web hosting services.
Cheers Rewt for the plug, appreciated, if only Guru3D were as forth coming with the same and their use of my INFs.
Keep up the excellent work.

Pieter.

Yes, you can install Coolbits 3D over Coolbits 2 with no problems.

Coolbits creates various values in the registry. I wouldn't recommend modifying any of them unless you really know what you're doing. If done improperly, editing the registry can cause serious issues. The easiest way to uninstall, for new users, would probably be to re-install/update your graphics driver. That will delete the Coolbits tweak, while leaving the necessary default options so the driver operates like it should. If you use application profiles, you should also back up your nvapps.xml from c:\windows\system32

You're welcome, and thanks again my friend. Without you, many of these tweaks would not be possible.

Some screenshots of Coolbits 3D now available on my homepage. (56KB/s connection or higher recommended)

The screenshots are of 61.77 Forceware/3D Stereo combo. Althought this tweak runs well with higher Forceware (tested up to 66.32 WHQL), there is not a higher version of 3D Stereo currently available for download.
