Well there is AndyM's thread " If you have a problem, PLEASE read this first!", just because you dont get a answer dont mean they are not listening, ETA's on a driver dont happen in Windows. Alot of people in the Linux community take to stance that it's done when it's done, same for nvidia and most others.

Personally I don't see what the big deal is ...... a simple recompile of the kernel fixes the issue and in my opinion to get the most out of ANY distro you should recompile it anyway and trim the fat.

It is pretty simple to do anymore and after I did it and made the necessry changes to get the nvidia driver to work ....... well let's just say UT 2004 owns ......

Oh and to those in this forum I have had "disagreements" with ..... I take back all that I have jumped about .... my bickering was 5th grade and

But I'm man enough to own up to my being overly critical.
