Default 24bit TrueColor Xlib

I had replaced my Riva TNT card with Nvidia Quadro4 980 XGL and made the necessary entries in the XF86Config-4 (RH Linux 7.2). Configured for 24bit depth. My Xlib/Motif application which worked satisfactorily on on RIVA TNT now giving problem and gives message says "Display should be 24bit/Truecolor"
Can someone guide me
Thanks
Kannan

Default Re: 24bit TrueColor Xlib

The problem was resolved by adding the Option "Dac8bit" "true" in the Devices section. Normal graphic cards have 8 bit colour table, but nvidia 980 XGL has a 10 bit colour table. The above option disable the 10 bit option and enables the 8 bit option.
