the 250 changed things but the 939 platform is a different cuppa tea...

give it a short while rip and see what happens wrt performance from both of em...

Seems to be sound advice, thanks Saz... Now, I just need to sell some of my equipment and get some money saved up..

Tell me, is AMD going to release any faster S939 CPUs soon? Like an FX55 for instance? I'm wondering how much I would have to gain by sitting tight until Christmas with what I have and then upgrading my CPU/motherboard..

Bad news update, I tested the ram in in my work pc A7NX at 200mhz 2-2-2-5 and ran memtest for over an hour and zero errors, compared to when i run it in this machine i get tons within minuets. Its gotta be my mobo/cpu. but what one, im thinking the cpu because the mem controler is on it.

Either way it's a serious PITA and I want to pass on my sympathies. How many times have I been through the same kinda BS? Enough times to know it sucks and is frustrating.

Good luck with it GlowStick.
