Red face text console oversized/wonky after adding TVout?

after getting the 5336 kernel module working with MDK10.0-O,
and then a little bit later after getting the TVOut working on my gForce FX5200..

I've found that going to a full text console (ctrl-alt-F1, or boot without X automatically loading) is completely blown out of proportion, as in it's trying to render the ascii text with each character being almost 15 lines tall, using odd non-ascii characters..

How can I correct this?

I don't know how to correct this but I have exactly the same problem if I use X without TV-Out

Same problem here and at a lot of people.

I use release 4620 of the driver and everything come OK. If I use a more recent release text consoles are garbled.

Michel.
