Default 98 and XP prof

I use 98 because it supports this 3dfx hammerhead fx gameport controller. I really cant live without Mario Kart 64. I dont have the usb version and xp doesnt support the gameport version, no ifs ands or buts. If someone knows how to get this working, I would really love to hear it so i can lose my only fat 32 partition.

I like xp for the reasons mentioned above, stability, aesthetics ect.

I tried linux, and recieved a ton of help from peeps on here with my geforce 2 gts, and I still have problems with it. I was using mandrake linux 9, and it doesnt support this cheap usb camera i got as a gift. mustek mdc 3500, and whenever try to go into the mnt directory, my computer just hangs for ever. Doesnt matter if i have cds in the drive or not, it seems to be trying to find a cd in my pioneer dvd driver, and it trys for like 5 or 10min before it finally displays mnt driectory, its just too much hassle for me right now, I couldnt get everybuddy to work properly, (I dont blame that on linux) but its just hassle hassle hassle, I have a copy of Solaris 8 has anyone used this? I was about to take a unix class at college a while back and we were using solaris 8, in jan 02, I unfortunately had to drop out due to reasons i wont get into here..
