Default Screen is shaking weirdly

Hi,
It's one or two months that I'm experiencing a weird problem with my video.
After 3-4 days of uptime the screen begins to shake. The strange thing is that only the part of the screen below an orizzontally line shakes. This line is about at 1/3 of the monitor. I've noticed also that if I maximize a gnome program's window (e.x: gvim, mozilla, gqview...) the shaking disappear, or at least it slow down.
This problem affects the bios' screen, the lilo's screen and Windows too.
I've tried to disable the acpi, the frame buffer, the apic, the agp but nothing changes.
The only way to bring the computer to it's normal state it's to halt it at let it rest for 1-2 hours.
I don't know why it's happening, when it happens, anf wtf it is.
I've tried also to keep the computer to a constant temperature (40-43 C°) but after 3 days it began.
If I don't halt the computer, the screen, after a while (2-3 hours?), it becomes white-grey, the image is like fog.
Note: This happens indifferently in the console and in X
What to do? What to do?
This is my system:
Sony VAIO PCG-GRT995MP
VGA compatible controller: nVidia Corporation NV17 [GeForce4 420 Go] (rev a3)

Someone I know started to have a problem like this a while ago - it involved the edge of the display shaking constantly. It wasn't shaking much, but it was still very annoying and noticeable. I did some research, and I'm pretty sure it's the actual monitor, not the system. the only real cause I could find was some kind of interference from other equipment, like another monitor through the wall or something, but that's probably not the case it if it just started.

You could either try different (maybe lower) resolutions and refresh rates to see if the problem remains.. But the only real solution is to get a new monitor, as this is probably because yours is on the way out. How old is it?

I''ve bought the computer 3 months ago. It is a notebook.
It isn't old, and it isn't close to any amgnetic device.
Yesterday I came to the conclusion that after a long uptime it begins (3-4 days).

I get a similar shaking sometimes and its on a windows system

I generally run @ 12x10 @ 85hz but when my gf is blow-drying her hair in this new place the screen just goes crazy...

I've discovered if I drop the refresh down to 60 or 70Hz it doesn't flicker like crazy when the hair-dryer is on...

have no idea whats causing the minor other flickering @ 85hz though... only other device near my monitor is my case and I've moved it as far away as possible...

no shaking when I drop the refresh however... and it never did this @ the other places I have set up the system @...

No, I've also tried changing the refresh rate in X, but it doesn't helps. I console the refresh is always 60.
In the external monitor there isn't this problem!!!
So I think that it is related to the LCD. (The computer is a notebook)
It's really frustrating
