Default Excellent deal on 3800+ socket 939!!

http://www.digitallyunique.com/ada3800awbox.html

Check it out guys, I just got one from them... I know I said I was going to wait but at this price why wait eh??? A good $150 less than newegg and the difference will pay for the motherboard.

I went w/ground shipping though. I'm in no rush - I don't intend to buy a stopgap motherboard for this so I'm waiting for nforce3 250 for s939. Hope they don't make us wait to much longer...

Wow, that's a nice o/c. 2.6ghz woohoo!

I've been looking at a few pictures of the abit/asus k8t800 boards and it almost seems like my zalman won't work. I'm concerned that the CPU is to close to those DIMM sockets and given the size of the 7000cu it's iffy as far as whether it fits without contacting stuff... I guess I'll find out won't I?

It's going to piss me off if I have to get rid of my beautiful zalman.

*Edit* n/m, it looks alright. I went and compared some pics between my d875.

it should not interfere... I have caps real close to the top of my cpu's hsf retention bracket but nothing actually is in contact

design calls for it to be close so that you have a lot of room elsewhere... just look @ the msi boards layout... tons of real-estate

Not sure about that. And unfortunately, they have already put the price back to what it was probably supposed to have been. I got my order in before they changed the price but not before the cutoff for shipping on Friday. They might cancel my order on me.

Bleh, that would suck. Hey it's their fault if they list the price wrong at time of sale...and I'm gathering they confirmed the sale.

If only my checking account wasn't low on green

Yeah it is their fault and they probably should honor their price as a matter of principle.

But if it's not exactly some huge giant superstore, this could be a huge loss for them if they got say 1,000 orders in that day. I kinda doubt that but you know... If you own the place and this runs you out of business then most people would not honor the price, right or wrong.
