I guess that just a short list, I am sure Release 80 has a very long list of new features and fixes included dual core support.
Where did you find that list of fixes?

WOW! Man, nVidia is really on the ball with the drivers! They haven't got a single issue on the other fronts and now they have all this time to make updates to SLI configs that most people don't have...
Er... Wait a tick! They haven't fixed a lot of the problems (VMR sync, stuttering between THEIR motherboards and THEIR video cards, video decode glitches) and they're going ahead with adding the new features that few actually have the need for. YAY! Go nVidia, go! Mixed priorities is fun! Hmmmm, I wonder if ATI is doing anything interesting on the video decode because that's probably the only way we're going to eventually have nVidia correct the VMR/MCE issues. And before you ask, want more information on the MCE issues? Go to HTPC forums like AVSforum or HTPCnews and ask about the 6600. It *should* be the best card for that purpose, but the decoding bugs keep it second-rate. It has great quality, jerky playback. Its enough to make one swear off nVidia. If they don't hurry up and fix this. |
