I have sucessfully managed to install the NVidia drivers under RedHat 8.0. Unfortunatly all programs crash after a few seconds (I have the same problem under windows, thinks it's the graphics card) so I would like to uninstall and return to Mesa.
I reinstalled the Mesa RPMs using the --force option (as they were already installed) and returned to my old XF86Config file. Now my X Server won't start! I reinstalled the NVidia drivers to get a working display but still my programs crash. Any idea how I can go back? Thanks, David. |

When you say your "X server won't start" with the old non-nVidia config file, what errors are you getting?
