Default Legit-Looking Longhorn...

This would have to be an exceptional fake....This is the first "leak" that actually seems legit..

With Windows XP's skin support, I wouldn't be at all surprised if it was fake. The thing that bothers me the most is that first screenie where it says "Windows Codename Longhorn." I'm suspicious of the use of the word codename in the install screen.

If it's legit, I'll eat my due crow, but I won't be the least bit surprised if it's been fudged.

Man, I still think its fake, and if they are real, dang, Longhorn is gonna be boring. Its gonna be like... "Windows XP Part 2" or "The Empire(MS) Steps Back".

They said only *some* objects of the OS will be accelerated.
Maybe they haven't added that feature yet
Still that looks just as my XP

From the link Juice posted:

"The new UI is internally being referred to as 'Plex'.

'Plex' is nowhere remotely near being finished. Developers are currently toying around with it. "

Don't lose hope yet.....this could still end up being really cool....

well, everything is supposed to be a texture, doesn't that classify it as "3d accelerated?"

unless of course, Microsoft had to trim down their grandiose plans, wouldn't be the first time
