fanATIcs have Humus' demo to tide them over until the R500

If it was a technique that has been published (before humus) you would think developers would have used it by now.

wait a sec, did I miss something here, of did anantech's conclusion totally go against what numbers were being shown?

I looked to me that in some cases sm3.0 gave a HUGE increase in performance...

Jared - I think you are confused. So far SM3 with Far cry is showing some HUGE improvements. ChrisRay has confirmed this to be true.
