61.45 and newer support SM3.0, I believe.

Yeah, I've been wondering about that myself but it does fix a lot of the glitches for the Fx users so hopefully they'll release it before DX9.0c is released officially.

Then again, i guess they could just leave all the features in, and not support it at all, barely make a mention in the notes that its there.

Basicly leave it up to Powerusers to enable it/Support it to eachother.

I didn't read the whole thread so pardon me if I am repeating someone.

If you want DX9.0c and SM 3.0 just install Windows SP 2 RC 2. It has DX 9 and so far I love it. I have the 61.71 drivers set and ready to go.

If Crytek doesn't hurry up and put out this patch, my FarCry days will be up for a while. Come August 3rd, Doom 3 will be in my hands. My PC will be completly wiped out and have a fresh install of XP, DX 9.0c, and 61.71 drivers! Can't wait. I'd like to replay FarCry with the new patch but I guess we don't have it yet.

I think if it was upto Crytek they woulod have released this but the thing is holding them probably as Glowstick said, the mass availability of DX9c is probably the problem..erm along with official WHLQ drivers that enable SM 3.0

Oh YES,
CHEATY-I CHEATON9800XT and CHEATON X800 still Enable Filtering CHEAT.
