Default Geforce Go 6800

Anyone know if I can get a Geforce Go 6800 for my laptop, I've been searching and can't find a thing on it, only results I've gotten were complete systems that have it installed.

If there are systems out there with the card, I figure it should be up for sale. I can't even find my Fx Go5650 on the net..

Laptop video chipsets are generally integrated onto the motherboard.

If Soundblaster can make external Soundcards, I wonder why they don't make external video cards... usb bandwith too small?

Bandwith way too small. There is an external video card out there somewhere, but the max resolution is 800x600 I think. It struggles just to display the screen, let alone process graphics.

You cant get it for your laptop because your laptop do not have PCI Express motherboard, when you purchase a brand new laptop with 6800 Go then in a year time or so you can upgrade your 6800 Go to NV5x, NV6x cards.

Alienware and Dell are offering it as upgrades to their highest end laptops. But these laptops do not support the new PCIe standard which will be supported by nVidia and ATI in the future.
