Default FX5200 and Xorg 99% CPU Use

I saw a few messages regarding this Item.
I tried some of the proposed workarounds with no success.
I would like to try a 6xxx series driver, but I can't compile them in my 2.6.15 kernel. Is there any way to patch the files and compile it? (6629 for example?)

Can I try something else to avoid the hangups? (Much better I i don't have to flash de BIOS).
The board was perfectly working with Windows 2K.

The NV driver works fine. I'm using Debian Testing.

Regards,
Martin Fuentes
