Okay Sat...I decided to pull of my HSF and see what I had. The AS3 statement I made was just hearsay but now I can confirm that it is on my GPU. I'm going to re-clean surfaces with alcohol now and apply some Artic Silver Ceramique of my own.

Not at all, thanks for the feedback. So far only you have SH64 have preferred a different style though. Some people like to see the resolutions on the same line. Plus, the red and green fonts should be pretty obvious I'd think. It was to everyone I showed prior to posting. Again, just personal preference and I'll probably provide the user with either option in the next review.
nah the layout is okies...

the colors you used are not bad either...

what I was saying is for the rows... perhaps have the ROWS different colors... say white one row... light gray the next and so on... or group em together...

it makes it stand out more and you can always denote the "winner" of a particular bench by highlighting the box

Hey guys, Artic Silver Ceramique is okay for GPU applications right? Off to google for a bit. Once I have HSF back on and card in rig I will report back temps at idle and under load.

Here are some pics of a clean (well almost, it's cleaner now, trust me ) core and the underside of the HS. It could use some lapping...might do that one day and eek out another 5MHz or so.

Nice pics Clay. Now that you have exposed the HS fins, install a Vantec Fan Card under it. This thing lowered my load temps by 11C!

Seems to be about as good as regular AS, probably a little safer since it is claimed to be non-conductive.

I lost track of one of the HSF retention screws for over an hour ..finally found it. Ugh. I applied Arctic Silver Ceramique to the core (after removing what did appear to be Arctic Silver # as it was dense and felt more like AS than cheaper compounds). I also removed the memory thermal pads and covered the memory with AS Ceramique as well.

Here are my temps under following scenarios (I've updated my review to be more specific on temperatures). I ran each of these timedemos for at least five minutes before gathering the temperature values. NOTE: as soon as you CTRL+TAB to the NVIDIA CP you only have about 1 second before the temperature starts to rapidly drop from when the game in window mode had the focus so you have to be quick with the PRT SCR button.

UT2K4 was run in window (fullscreen unchecked) in the UT2K4 game menu.

Far Cry was run in window mode with the r_fullscreen set to 0 (zero/off) value (value of 1 enables fullscreen mode).

- Idle: 47C
- 3DCenter UT2K4 Primeval timedemo: 54C (screenshot)
- Far Cry Custom Carrier timedemo noAA/noAF: 61C (screenshot)
- Far Cry Custom Carrier timedemo 4AA/16AF: 64C (screenshot)
- Far Cry Regulator 1.2 Patch timedemo 4xAA/16xAF: 64C (screenshot)

I'd love to see some 1280x1024 benches in the mix. (if you get some free time to do so)
