Default What do these numbers: i386, i586, and i686 have to do with?

Hi All,

Could You please tell me what these numbers: i386, i586, and i686 have to do with?... Do they have to do with what type of CPU you're running?

Thanks and Love You!

Nevermind... I did a search on excite and found the answer: they have to do with the architecture of your system... Typing 'uname -m' and hitting enter will give You the architecture of your system.

Love You!
