Only in the UK or USA. You'd have to find someone to ship it to you, and even then I'm not sure if you'd be able to take advantage of BFG's warranty.

Very nice review, Ed. You've got me convinced - the SLI system I'm planning on building will have 2 BFG 6800 GT's in it. It was quick, to the point, easy the understand and also easy/fun to read. Excellent job.

I would buy from BFG as he stated in his review there return policy is great. I had a BFG Geforce 6800 OC that burned out in 7 months so i called them and they had me send it and when i got my new card they sent me a Geforce 6800 GT OC i was amazed. Great company and a great card.

One thing the review lacked was temperature monitoring; its important to me, because I've been having crashing problems over a year with the BFG 6800GT AGP board.

My computer is a stock Gateway 500S:

Motherboard/BIOS: Gateway ESSEX2, Intel Corp. RG84510A.15A.0057.P19.0308210949, 8/21/2003
CPU: Intel Pentium 4 2.40GHZ
RAM: 1022MB MEM DDR 256-MB PC266B 32X8 [Part #5000583]
Video: Nvidia GeForce 6800 GT, Nvidia Driver Version 91.31
Audio: SoundMAX Integrated Digital Audio (motherboard)
PSU: CoolMax CU600 (600 Watt)
Operating System: MS Windows XP Ver 2002 Service Pack 2 Build 2600
Direct X 9.0c (4.09.0000.0904)

Crash symptoms: I don't see any performance hits or (small) artifact or other anomalies, the game image is just suddenly replaced with a screen full of square artifacts, and then 3-5 seconds later the video signal is lost entirely. About 15seconds to 1-3 minutes later (varies) the entire computer crashes; in any event, once this error occurs the entire system has to be powered down.

Happens 5-10 minutes into playing Settlers:Heritage of Kings, Black and White 2, and now Morrowind's Oblivion.

Using Rivatuner's diagnostic logs, a review of the Core temperature of the 6800GT shows a peak of 89-94 Celsius (over 200 F ??? )

I've since installed a rear enclosure (outtake) fan but it hasn't helped. I haven't overclocked the board, its running at BFG's factory OC (Core 370Mhz, 1000 Memory). In fact I obtained Rivatuner to underclock the board and see if I can solve my frequent crashes but so far no luck.

Any help/ideas/suggestions would be appreciated; right now I'm trying to figure out if:

1. It IS a overtemp problem
2. Cooling solutions

------------
On a side note, BFG's support is stellar; I'm still working with them but so far we haven't solved the problem. They'be been patient and its good support.
