Ok I know this isn't a Nvidia-related post but some of you still have ATI cards. The following applies to X800 cards.

They fixed the shadow issues on the boat level, the render modes now work from the menu, and the configuration tool now correctly detects the card.

Well, edit the .inf file or use beta drivers. Simple fix.

They support it, you just need to enable a few inf settings.

why? theres really no visual diff. with ps3.0-it just speeds up ps2.0 shaders....the visual diff. wont be till patch 1.3....which im sure wont be out till 2005.

Ok now the patch is out.. and what do we actually gotta do to get the ps 3.0 to work. I mean.. we can change the .inf file.. .. do we need the directx 9.0c? also............ can we use our 1.1 saves on the new 1.2 patch? thanks

I am dying to know how to enable SM3.0 in the game. I already have DX9.0c and 3.0 drivers. Do I have to change something in the game console to get it to work or is it just by selecting the "improved" mode in the rendering drop down menu?

Yeah can someone give us the word on how to enable 3.0 in the game? Cause IIRC there are no visible changes besides framerate..Is there a command to show the rendering path in green text like there was on the RC of the patch?
