Have you upgraded to the 1.2 patch of Far Cry?

I can confirm there is a tiny bit of blue graphics in 1.2 with 61.76. Damn.

Umm, what is the blue graphics? Are you guys talking about that little, bluish glitch that appears for a sec or so in several differetn places during the load screen?

I see no such thing with my 5900, Forceware 61.76 (modded for SM3.0), and Far Cry 1.2. Make sure you haven't disabled the Table Fog Emulation.

oh yeah, it does... it was even doing it with my 5700. Any drivers after 56.72's give me blue graphics in farcry. i have no idea as to why though.

Do a search of this forum or the Far Cry forum.
This subject is well documented It has to do with yur in game graphics setting. If yu set them too high the blue hue appears, particularly on the hand. I had the same trouble and played around with the Advanced Settings to fix it. I believe either "Special Effects" or "Lighting" are the trouble. I have mine set at Medium and High. I am running the game with 61.76 and patch 1.1 with no issues on a FX5900PV Am yet to install the v1.2 Hope this helps cheers |
