nvidia riva tnt2 m64 reboots computer!! help

well the thing is, this computer was formatted yesterday, it used to work perfectly, now after being formatted, everytime i use something video-related (watching an .avi, playing doom 95 (hehe)) it freezes then reboots, and when i get back to windows i get an error report saying the display driver of the nvidia riva tnt2 model 64 is responsible, i need help, im quite the ignorant in this aspect of pcs

nevermind i installed 71.89_win2kxp_english and it all seems normal, thanks anyway
