GeForce 6800 power supply questions

Hello

i have got that system:


AMD 64 3200 CG
MSI K8N Neo PT
Crucial 4000 Ballistick 512*2
Leadtek 6800GT
WD 80G 8MB
DVD
CDRW
TT 420W

i try to overclock my system and it isnt overclock much.
i think its because the PSU ( 12V = 18A )

what do u think?

and what PSU do u recomand to buy?
i only have a few choices( i live in israel).
like Enermax or Antec

If at all possible, get an OCZ powerstream. There are 3 versions.....420 watt with 30A on the +12 470 and 520 watt both have 33a. OCZ's psu's have dedicated vga power lines that are shielded and filtered. There is no better PSU in my opininon. If OCZ is not available in Israel, then a good Enermax should be ok. But try to find OCZ

the problem is that at the moment there isnt OCZ psu in israel.
the Enermax is better then Antec?
they got a dedicated vga power lines?(Enermax or Antec)

Edit: Do you think i need a better PSU for overclock or stay with TT420?

I dont think either enermax or antec has dedicated vga lines. Is it possible to get an OCZ imported?

there is a problem with import that psu, and because of that
they not here for sell.
i just called to a store in israel and they told me that.

kahloq, do you think i need to replace my psu for overclocking?

Even if you do replace your psu you still might not get a successfull overclock, it ultimately comes down to the individual processor.

There ARE other PSU`s with dedicated 12V Lines for VGA/HDD

Take a look at this one on google or somewhere

for example the:
Enermax EG465AX-VE (G) FMAX 460W W/Copper Shielding DualFan

has a dedicated 12V line (shielded) and nice +12V with 33A

and the price is good too for this one.

Antec True series have seperate rails. My 480w TrueBlue runs fine with my BFG GT.

Im not overclocking anything currently. I have no reason to as of yet.
Everything runs smooth at 1280, High Detail with 8xAF on, so Im happy.

READ IT...cause in there it says:thankyou for buying a high quality graphics card from gainward.This gainward product requires 120watts to function correctly.If you have a 350 watt or less power supply in your pc this graphics card may fail to work correctly.Gainward recommends you use a 480 watt power supply for this product.

In order to make life easier for you, you can order a 550watt high quality power supply directly from Gainward..ok but im getting my 550watt cheaper elsewhere......
