Lightbulb AGP 4X to 8X a big performance boost?

I'm going to do a motherboard upgrade, and since I'm a gamer (with an AGP4X motherboard), I was wondering of upgrading to an AGP8X motherboard to double my graphics bandwidth (my card supports AGP8X, it's a Geforce FX 5700Ultra). My question is, will this give me a big performance boost, or none at all?

probably none at all!
If the only spec that changes is the AGP bandwidth, you'll get the same speed.
But some chipsets are faster than others, so if you upgrade to a board with a better chipset, you'll get a little speed boost. (not more than 5% probably)

2. Celeron (Tualatin) 1400mhz | Geforce Ti 4800SE

That depends entirely on what you are doing with the system. Faster fps.. probably not. Faster texture loads, probably.
