Just got an eVGA 6800 on Monday, and it's awesome. However, today I thought I'd hook it up to the TV to test the TV-out function. Everything worked fine in console mode while it booted up, but the computer refused to start X. Tried lowering the available resolutions all the way to 640x480, to no avail. The NVidia logo showed up, but after it disappears, the X server immediately segfaults.
I installed nvtv, ), but it does nothing. I don't think nvtv has support for the 6800 yet--the most recent build on sf is dated April 19. Anyone experimented with this before? thanks -matt |
